NLP: neuro linguistic programing

From a few years ago till now, I was studying NLP.

When  I started, I could see that NLP “going to change my life”

The NLP study the relation that we have with the environment throughout our analyzers: Visual, Tactile Auditive, etc. and how we organize our mental structure (strategies) to be able to adapt and survive in this enviroment

The perception of the environment will be relative to our experience, for example: if I m from Norway, -3Cº its normal, and “Warm”, otherwise, if I m from Brasil, -3Cº is very cold. It is clear that perception of the same temperature, is very different.

Then from this idea, we are ready to know the first NLP gold rule:

1-   The map is not the territory

How to apply this in our tennis?

If I understand this Gold Rule, then, I going to understand that I need mental elasticity to adapt myself to the environment, my point of view is JUST one of many points of view, but not the only one. Then I ll be able to learn from everybody and every situation

Easyer to understand: BE MODEST, then you gona learn

The 2nd and important rule to understand is: every behavior that you
 repeat has a positive intention.
The mind is a adaptation machine with the environment. Then the behaviors
are just this: an adaptation to the environment. If the behave works, then I
going to repeat. The problem is that this specific behave could works one or
two times, but stop to works after. Then is when the problems start.
If I m playing a match and I repeat always the same behave pattern, is
because in one part of my life, maybe in a old match, this reaction was

  • If you throw the racket
  •  If you shout
  •  If you are ironc
  •  If you get in crisis when you have to close the match
  •  If you say "come one"
  •  If you say "always in this situation happen the same"

All of them are mental strategies, to be safe.

Through the NLP, is quite easy to change those and build other ones more
positives and productive in the moment.
To get this changes you must be Mentally ELASTIC, to recognize and create
new behave options for the same situation.
Just ask to yourself this questions:
  •  How I m behaving, is the only behaving option?
  •  In how many different ways, can I behave?
  •  How can I do different?
