US COLLEGE PLACEMENT

To go and study in the United States is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for any player aiming to combine high-level tennis with an adapted university curriculum. Our 'Scholarship USA’ program allows you to obtain a degree recognized worldwide while spending up to 4 years abroad — a feat that will give you a competitive edge in your professional career.
Every year, more than 20 students from the DECOA placement program that now has joined Elite Tennis Academy are granted a scholarship in an American university. Their scholarships cover an average 80% of the total fees. Given the significant tuition fees of American universities ($35,000 on average), our students are able to save a staggering $28,000 per year.

Some of the top-notch universities have players close to the professional level in their rosters, and it is common to see some of them make it to the ATP World Tour. John Isner who got his degree at the University of Georgia, Kevin Anderson, has played three years of college tennis at the University of Illinois before turning professional; James Blake, has spent two years at Harvard University.

How it works:
Each university can award a given number of scholarships. A tennis player should have a minimum ranking of 11 in the UTR RANKING system to expect a substantial scholarship at the time of departure.

Eligibility:
- Must be 17 years old or over
- Must have a high school degree with a minimum GPA of 10-12/20
- Must have passed both the TOEFL and the SAT tests
Branches of study:
Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, Finance, Communication, Advertising, Journalism, Sports Management, Sciences, Engineering, etc.

Level of education:
Bachelor, Master, PHD.
